Jagdish Thind Fazilka, 18 July 2020: Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh while addressing his weekly Facebook Live Session-‘Ask Captain’ said that his government had constituted a commission of inquiry to probe into the false cases registered by the previous government. Replying to a query of Mr. Narendra Kumar Bhadu of Fazilka district, the Chief Minister said that he had constituted the Justice Mehtab Singh Commission only after the formation of the government in 2017 which is investigating such false cases. He said that 4341 cases had come to this commission for investigation out of which 3560 have been investigated and 260 cases have been recommended for dismissal. During this Facebook Live Session, the Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to follow the medical advice to stop the spread of covid 19 disease. He appealed that if we must wear the mask then the risk of this disease can be reduced to a great extent.
