Farmers Outfits lift dharna from Harike Headworks, Kissan March action plan for Delhi on Sept 17
Ferozepur, September 16, 2020: On the third day of sit-in dharna at Harike Headworks by Farmers Outfits was lifted today and the traffic normalcy returns on the highway. However, the Jail Bhro protests will continue in front of the DC offices of Ferozepur, Tarn Taran and Amritsar.
Announcing the withdrawal the protest permanently, Satnam Singh Pannu, State President, Jasbir Singh Pidhi, Vice Pesident, Inderjit Singh Bath District President and others said, In the meantime, a state core committee meeting has been called for September 17 for Kissan March Action Plan for Delhi. They said, the decision has been taken to avoid inconvenience to the public.
A condolence resolution was also passed on the sudden death of Satwinder Sijgh Kaleshan Zone President, due to illness and rich tributes were also paid.
On the other hand, as per the sources, the police have registered a case against the farmer leaders and unidentified persons for violating the instructions for blocking the traffic and not maintaining the medical protocols by the protesters for keeping the social distancing and wearing the face masks.
