" It is only during the SAD-BJP regime the Punjab has witnessed unprecedented development and welfare schemes", said Sukhbir Singh Badal while cautioning the people not to fall prey of the misleading propaganda by the Congress and AAP. The Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal was addressing a well attended public meetings at Aur and Mukandpur during the first day of his " Sangat Darshan " programme in Banga assembly segment here today.
" Both AAP and the Congress are anti Punjab political parties and have nothing to do with the welfare of Punjab and Punjabis. While the Congress has always been discriminating with Punjab, the AAP is not aware about the religious and social traditions of Punjab.", said the Deputy Chief Minister while enumerating the various development and welfare schemes including " Atta-Dal", " Shagun", " Free power' and " Health Insurance" , launched by the SAD-BJP government during the past 9 years.
The people of Punjab should vote for the third consecutive term for the SAD-BJP to further continue the unprecedented development and welfare schemes in the state, further said the Deputy Chief Minister. " As there is BJP government at the centre, hence it would be prudent decision to vote for the SAD-BJP government in Punjab again to give a fillip to the development", added Sukhbir Badal.
The Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Badal distributed grant cheques amounting to Rs. 3 crore among 56 panchayats of Aur and Mukandpur areas falling under Banga assembly segments.
