Dr A.R. Kidwai, former Haryana Governor
Chandigarh, August 24, 2016:
Haryana government has decided to observe three days state mourning throughout the state from August 24 to 26 as a mark of respect to former Governor of Haryana, A.R. Kidwai, who breathed his last at New Delhi on Wednesday. He was 96. Dr. Kidwai was survived by two sons and four daughters
An official spokesman said that during the State mourning, the National Flag would be flown at half mast where it is regularly flown and there would be no official entertainment during this period.
Meanwhile Haryana Governor, Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki, has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of Dr A.R. Kidwai, He said Dr Kidwai was born in 1920 in Baragaon village of Barabanki district in Uttar Pradesh. He was survived by two sons and four daughters.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, has also expressed deep grief over the sad demise of former Haryana Governor Dr A. R Kidwai .
