Chandigarh, January 20, 2017 : Punjab BJP Mahila Morcha today deputed women incharges to all the 23 Assembly constituencies of the party’s quota from the Akali-BJP alliance. A 23-member team of the Mahila Morcha has been constituted under the leadership of state party president, Vijay Sampla which will do door-to-door canvassing for the alliance’s candidates in various constituencies and make the women voters aware of the developmental works carried out by PM Modi-led government at the Centre and the Akali-BJP coalition government in the state.
Giving out details, Punjab BJP Mahila Morhca president, Mona Jaiswal said, “Sukhraj Kaur has been deputed as the women incharge in Jalandhar North. Similarly, Seema Sahni has been deployed in Jalandhar Central, Rimpi Prabhakar in Jalandhar West, Preeti Taneja in
Amritsar East, Charu Devgan in Amritsar Central, Rekha Sharma in Sujanpur, Arti Tatyal in Bhoa, Naulkha in Rajpura, Prabha Mahajan in Pathankot, and Rajkumari and Paramjit Kaur have been made women incharges of Dinanagar”.
Jaiswal further said. “Dimple Bhardwaj has been handed over the charge of Amritsar North, Poonam Malhotra of Amritsar West, Nek Minhas of Mukerian, Rajni Kaushal of Dasuya, Neeti Talwar of Hoshiarpur, and Narmrata Khanna of Shri Anandpur Sahib. Dolly Gosain will take care of Ludhiana Central, Geeta of Ludhiana West and Sudha Khanna of Ludhiana North. Mansi Jindal will handle Firozepur, Suvarsha Gupta and Manpreet Grewal will handle Fazilka. Ekta Nagpal will look after Abohar and Neelam Sharma will take care of Phagwara”.
