Bathinda, April 28, 2017: Keeping in view the problems being faced in GST registration, the Central Excise and Taxation Department has decided to keep its GST Sewa Kendra open on April 29 (Saturday) and April 30 (Sunday) for the benefit of all traders and existing central excise & service tax assessees.
Giving this information here on Friday, the Assistant Commissioner for Central Excise and Taxation Department Dr Sukhmani Sangha stated that for all the traders falling under jurisdiction of Bathinda district it is mandatory to get registered under GST migration and very less time was left for the same.
She appealed the tax payers and said that if a person does not get registered before implementation of GST, he would face problems once the GST comes into effect.
In order to help people for getting registered under the GST, the department has decided to keep its GST Sewa Kendra open on holidays at SCO 25-26, MS Complex, Model Town Phase II Bathinda. The concerned can get his GST registration migrated on the internet.
