Ashok Malik appointed Press Secretary to the President
New Delhi, July 22, 2017: Union Cabinet has approved appointment of Ashok Malik as the Press Secretary to the President of India.
Malik is a senior analyst and fellow of Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
The tenure of his new assignment is of two years.
Malik writes columns for leading national, international publications including Times of India, Hindustan Times and YaleGlobal Online.
Presently, he heads OFR’s Neighbourhood Regional Studies Initiative. He has also published a book India: Spirit of Enterprise tracing growth of India’s private sector industry and its contribution to the country’s economy.
