Vikas Barala summoned to appear before police in Stalking Case
Chandigarh, august 09, 2017: Vikas Barala, the son of Haryana BJP Chief Subhash Barala, has been summoned by the police in Vernika stalking case. He has been asked to appear in police station sector 26, Chandigarh at 11 am today.
He along with his friend is facing allegations that they stalked a woman and chased her on the streets of Chandigarh last week.
It has been learnt that a police notice to join investigations was pasted outside his home when no one accepted it.
Meanwhile, his father Subhash Barala told media that his son would fully cooperate in the investigation.
Daughter of a senior IAS of Haryana , 29 years old DJ Varnika Kundu, had alleged that Vikas and his friend tried to block her way, banged on her window and tried to force her door open. On the midnight of August 4 and 5, 2017. Both the accused were released on bail on August 05, 2017 from the police station itself.
