China can be taught a lesson by boycotting Chinese products: Deepak
Chandigarh, August 20, 2017: Swadeshi Jagran Manch today organised a massive rally at the Sector-27 Ramlila Ground here. RSS Chandigarh Sanghchalak Trilokinath, Seh-Prant Karyavaah Munishwar , MP Kiron Kher, Mayor Asha Jaswal, Chandigarh BJP President Sanjay Tandon and Swadeshi Suraksha Abhiyaan conveners- Deepak Batra, Swami Shayama Nand Maharaj, Pranami Ashram Chandigarh, Baldev Mahajan, Advocate General Haryana Govt, Sh. Lamaa Karmayeshay Rapjay and ex-councilor cum BJP leader Saurabh Joshi were present on the occasion. All the leaders made an appeal to the masses to boycott Chinese products.
Main speaker on the occasion, Deepak Sharma ‘Deepak’, who had specially come from Delhi to participate in the event, stressed that people need to boycott Chinese products even if they would have to face some problems for some time. Addressing the gathering he said, “Buying Chinese products has hit nation’s economic growth. Lakhs of small scale industrial units have been forced to shut down and this has led to unemployment. Every passing year 1.25 crores adolescents are turning into an employable age while 10 crore youths are already lying unemployed. The situation gets even worse when pink slips are handed due to closure of industries”.
“A world leadership crisis has emerged after America has started losing its hold. In such a situation, China is trying fill in America’s shoes. 170 countries in the world have a democratic rule and the press is free. If a country like China- where human rights violations and labour law violations are rampant and press freedom is curbed – manages to get hold of the world leadership, one can imagine how worse the situation can be. Today China is facing an economic crisis and is under a burden of internal debt amounting to 282 per cent of its GDP. Around 3 Lakhs incidents of social unrest are being reported every year and the Americans too are becoming wary of Chinese products. In such a situation we should also boycott its products and the government should also find ways to stop Chinese companies from selling their products in India. By doing this, India will certainly defeat China without losing a jawan at the border”, Deepak said.
Meanwhile, Swadeshi Suraksha Abhiyan convener, Deepak Batra said that their campaign against Chinese products garnered a massive support in Chandigarh. “Many campaigns against Chinese products were undertaken in Chandigarh from 8th August where around 100 different programs were carried out in schools, colleges and various localities and people were made aware of the drawbacks of using Chinese products. The Swadeshi Jagran Manch took out motorcycle rallies, marches in different parts of the city. Signature campaigns were also held wherein 50,000 people put their signatures in support of the campaign. The workers of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch and the BJP also raised slogans of ‘Chinese Bhagao, Desh Bhagao’ during the campaign”.
He informed that a huge event is being organised on October 29 at the Ramlila Ground in Delhi against Chinese products.
