Four persons killed due to explosion in cracker factory- Amarinder expresses grief
Asks DC to personally supervise entire rescue operation and provide free of cost treatment to all injured
Chandigarh, September 19, 2017 : Four persons have been reported to be killed in a blast in carcker factory at village Sular Gharat in Dirba Sub Division of Sangrur district.. The explosion was so powereful that a three story building completely collapsed. another building under construction was also damaged. SSP Mandeep Singh Sidhu who along with DC was on the spot to supervise the rescue operation, told Bbaushahi.com that the owner of the cracker factory was Pardeep Kumar s/o gandhi Ram .
Meanwhile Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today expressed profound grief and anguish over the massive explosion in a cracker factory, which led to four casualties at village Sular Gharat in Dirba Sub Division of Sangrur district.
According to an official spokesperson of Chief Minister's Office, Captain Amarinder Singh directed the Deputy Commissioner Sangrur to ensure the best possible treatment to all the injured at free of cost besides making adequate arrangements for safe evacuation of people from the debris. He also asked the Deputy Commissioner to personally supervise the entire rescue operations.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families, Captain Amarinder Singh prayed to the Almighty to give enormous courage to them to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
