Amarinder seeks blessings at Bhaini Sahib, assures results in Mata Chand Kaur murder soon

Ludhiana, November 23, 2017: Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday called on Namdhari sect chief Satguru Uday Singh to seek blessings at the sect’s headquarter at Bhaini Sahib, about 25 kilometres from Ludhiana.
In the closed door meeting during his stay lasting about an hour, Amarinder assured the spiritual head of Namdharis of concrete results soon in the sensational murder case of Mata Chand Kaur, wife of late Satguru Jagjit Singh.
She was gunned down by motorcycle-borne youths in April 2016 at Bhaini Sahib. No headway could be made in the case so far with the accused still out of the police net.
The visit was primarily a personal and the first one since Amarinder became the Chief Minister.

During the meeting, it is learnt that Satguru Uday Singh blessed him for steering the state for the welfare of its people and his personal good health. He also wished a 10-year rule of Amarinder government for bringing the state back to prosperity. He asked the CM to generate as many jobs as possible for the youth of the state.
Those present in the meeting included HS Hanspal, the president of Namdhari Darbar and former Punjab Congress chief HS Hanspal, Sant Jagtar Singh, the son-in-law of late Satguru Jagjit Singh, Jai Singh, son of Sant Jagtar Singh, and Navtej Singh Cheema, Congress MLA from Sultanpur Lodhi.
