Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal takes over DC Mansa

Mansa, March, 20, 2018: 2005-batch IAS officer, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal today took over charge as Deputy Commissioner Mansa. He was earlier posted as State Transport Commissioner (STC), Punjab.
After a guard of honour by a contingent of Mansa police, he was accorded a warm welcome by the officers in the civil administration and the police.
After joining the new assignment, he said that apart from 100 percent transparency in administrative work, working for the overall development of district would be his top priority.
He stated that no stone would be unturned to help people in getting maximum benefit of the government schemes. The district administration will also ensure that all government services are provided to common man within stipulated time.
Dhaliwal has earlier worked at the post of Deputy Commissioner in Ferozepur and Tarn Taran districts.
On his first day in the office, he held a meeting of all the senior officers and examined the overall developmental progress of the district. He also enquired about the issue of wardbandi (delimitation). He asked the officers to ensure that all the government employees are present during their working hours on their respective seats so that the common should not suffer.
Among others who were present during the meeting included Mansa SSP Parambir Singh Parmar, ADC (G) Gurinderpal Singh Sahota, DSP Bahadur Singh Rao, SP (H) Dr. Sachin Gupta, SDM (Sardulgarh) Latif Ahmed, SDM Budhlada Gursimran Singh Dhillon, Assistant Commissioner (Complaints) Deepak Ruhella, , GA to DC Om Parkash, District Development Panchayat Officer (DDPO) Jagtar Singh Sidhu and Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) Paramjit Singh.
