Ferozepur March 30, 2018: The Hussainiwala border should be opened to include India in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor which if exercised innovatively, may open new vistas of regional cooperation, stability and economic growth in the region, said Simranjeet Singh Mann, President, Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) at a rally organized here today on Kissani-Jawani Bachao and to open Hussainiwala Border.
It’s an injustice to the people of Ferozepur and Fazilka for not opening the Hussainiwala and Sulemanki Borders which add to the development and remove the backward word pre-fixed of border districts said Mann.
Addressing the rally Mann said the entire loan amount of farmers was to be waived off by the government and for not doing so, is a cheating with the farmers. He urged the government to waive off the loans of the farmers immediately to curb the committing of suicides by them.
Today, the youth has been caught in the trap of intoxicants and the remaining youth have turned out to the outside countries and are not ready to stay in Punjab because the law and order have spread in Punjab and there is a rule of lawbreaking, said Mann.
Mann said in Punjab the land mafia, sand gravel mafia, drug mafia, cable mafia have fully grabbed the business and government is hand in gloves with the drug smugglers, with the result Punjab stands on the brink of waste. Rather than giving justice to the transport class, the Congress government has ruined the transporter class by disbanding the unions.
Today, the atmosphere of Punjab is worsening day by day and outsiders are scared of setting up industries in Punjab. The accused of Bargandi chapter have neither been arrested by Badal nor Congress government. Even the CBI and both the Commissions – Zora Singh and Ranjit Singh have not done anything, Mann further said.
Not only this, the Sikh youth locked in prisons, who have completed their imprisonment, are not being released. We fully support the bandh call on April 2. SAD(A) appeals to the people of Punjab to bring a change by forming the government of SAD(A) on saying bye to traditional parties, said Mann.
