Promises to renovate and double the capacity of PACL factory
Nangal, May 16: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh, on the behalf of Punjab Government, today handed over cheque of Rs 10 lakh and a job letter to the next of the kin of PACL accident deceased.
Talking to media persons at Satluj Sadan here, Mr. Rana KP Singh said that all other funds will be provided soon to the family of the deceased, who was killed following a blast in a chlorine tank at PACL plant in Nangal.
Sharing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, he said that the PACL factory, which was run under 3-4 crore loss per month during 2017, has made a lot of progress with the hard work and dedication of its MD Amit Dhaka and all other employees, and now the factory is generating a profit of around 7 crore per month, he added.
He further said that there was a proposal to renovate and change the machinery of the factory in near future and these measures will generate the employment opportunities for the Nangal area and lessen the danger of accidents.
