Patiala, August 18, 2018: With a view to monitoring the infrastructural development as well as qualitative improvement in schools under the " Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab" programme currently underway in the state, the teams under the stewardship of the Education Secretary, Krishan Kumar, today, visited as many as 111 schools falling under 13 educational blocks in Pataiala district. The teams took stock of the efforts made by the school teachers by mobilising community support for sprucing up school buildings as well as implementation of innovative teaching techniques to improve quality teaching learning process to shape the future of the students.
Later , addressing the meeting of the teachers, the Education Secretary, lauded the dedicated efforts bring put in by the school teachers for changing the public perception about the government schools.
"A considerable number of school teachers have virtually been emerging as a role model for others", said Krishan Kumar, while underlying the need of consolidating the positive aspect surfacing with the implementation of ' Parho Punjab, Parhao Punjab" programme. It is appropriate time for others to emulate the success stories of hundreds of school teachers, who have done really commendable contribution in the field of education, he added.
One of the best schools from each block, which included, Purana High Court Nabha, Tripdi, Jansuya, Pedhan, Behar Jachh, Nilpur, Harchandpura, Daun Khurd, Nawan Rakhra, Sanuar ( Girls), highlighted glimpses of the development stories through power point presentations.
