New Delhi, October 27, 2018: The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa took a strong notice of the Chairman of Management Committee of Dyal Singh College Mr. Amitabh Sinha on locking the door of Principal room and warned Mr. Sinha to desist from his extra judicial actions in college complex or be ready to face the music.
In a strong worded statement issued here today, Mr. Sirsa said that Mr. Sinha has acted in utterly extra judicial manner while locking the door of Principal's room. He said that people of country particularly of Delhi understand the frustration of Mr. Sinha as his efforts to change the name of the College and removing name of Dyal Singh have been thwarted by all the peace and justice loving people who acknowledge the contribution of S. Dyal Singh Majithia for the country.
He said that now with an aim to pressurize the staff and threat them with his political influence he has started to adopt such cheap and dirty tactics. He said that people are also aware that his friend and Vice Chancellor of Delhi University Prof. Yogesh Tyagi is also helping him in carrying out is agenda in an illegal manner. . He said that people will not take his such actions lightly and if needed they will take every physical action required to stop his mischieves and teach him a lesson.
Mr. Sirsa said that the DSGMC is committed to safeguard the legacy of S. Dyal Singh Majithia and it will take every action required whether legal or physical to accomplish its targets for the society. He said that Mr. Sinha should understand that people will not let him continue with his illegal actions and he should stop adopting these measures at the earlier. He said that there is widespread anger in the community against him worldwide for his fresh action and these have been taken seriously by the sikh community.
He also disclosed that the Principal of the college Dr. IS Bakhshi has also made it clear to Mr. Sinha that his malafide intentions, ulterior motives to victimize him will be given a befitting reply in lawful manner. He said that the DSGMC and all sangat will give support to the Principal and staff members against any mischievous action of Mr. Sinha.
Seeking immediate intervention of the Union HRD Minister Mr. Prakash Javdekar, Mr. Sirsa urged him to take a notice of these illegal actions of Mr. Sinha and issue suitable directions to Vice Chancellor and all concerned to stop him from acting is such an illegal manner.
