Chandigarh, November 18, 2018: Condemning the terror attack in Amaritsar on Nirankaris, the Bhartiya Janata Party – BJP has described the failure of law and order system of Capt Amrinder Singh led government.
Kamal Sharma, former Punjab BJP President and member of the National Executive Committee has alleged that the Punjab government did not take the inputs of central intelligence agencies and Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat seriously due to which the attack could be possible.
In a release issued to the press, Kamal Sharma said that in the last several months in Punjab, the law and order system has been running in a deadly condition and from the growing crime it looks that there is no such thing as law in the state.
He said, for the last few days, the the Army Chief had been warning the state government and media has also highlighted in the news but the terrorist incident in the border area has proved there has been no action at the ground level.
Kamal Shara alleged that the Punjab Congress repeating the historic mistakes, has again started encouraging fundamentalist forces indirectly which has strengthened the anti-country forces in the state.
BJP leader Shri Kamal Sharma expressing condolences to the people killed in the terror attack and wished for speedy recovery of wounded in the incident.
