Delhi, December 14, 2018: Showing a gesture of goodwill in the new year towards the Sikh Sangat, Air India has gifted with new twice a week flight from Chandigarh to Nanded (Hazoor Sahib) and back with effect from January 8, 2019.
Added here, Hazoor Sahib, also known as Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib and Abchal Nagar, is one of the five Takhts in Sikhism has historical importance and visited by the Sikh Sangat from all over the world to pay their obeisance and its connectivity by air for the convenience of the pilgrims would be a new years' gift for them.
Giving this information, Mam Raj Jindal, Station Manager, Air India Ltd. Said, the flight from Chandigarh to Nanded would start with Aircraft AB320 NEO.
The flight No.817 would depart from Chandigarh at 0910 hrs and arrive at Nanded (Hazoor Sahib) at 1130 hrs.
Likewise, the flight No.818 would depart from Nanded at 1205 hrs and arrive at Chandigarh at 1420 hrs. However, the days of operation would be on Tuesday and Wednesday, said Station Manager.
Station Manager also assured to extend the best attention of the passengers and services during the journey on Air India.
