New Delhi, February 15,2019: In the backdrop of Pulwama attack, Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria has now been called to Delhi for consultations. The decision has come after India withdrew the status of Most Favoured Nation (MFN) given to Pakistan, earlier this day.
According to ANI, Bisaria will leave tonight for national capital and is likely to meet external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhle.
The development comes soon after India lodged a strong protest against Pakistan and summoned its High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood. Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale also issued a strong demarche in connection with the killing of 44 CRPF soldiers and conveyed that Pakistan must take immediate action against terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Notably, the Pakistan-based terror group had yesterday claimed the responsibility for the attack.
