DC Vinay Bublani Visits Amardeep Shergill College Campus for Mobilisation of Youth

Deputy Commissioner SBS Nagar Vinay Bublani today said that big industrial and trade giants like Hero Cycles, Eureka Forbes, Reliance Jio, Swigy and Flipkart would offer jobs to the youth eligible for the employment during the upcoming mega job fair on February 20 at ITI Nawanshahr.
Addressing a gathering to mobilize the students for the mega event Amardeep Shergill Memorial College Mukandpur, the Deputy Commissioner said that these companies would offer job opportunities to the unemployed youth. He said that the companies would also give valuable career to youth for better job opportunities and future.
Exhorting the students to avail maximum benefits of the job fair, having first of its kind initiative the industrial giants were visiting the campuses of colleges to select youth for job. He said that this job fair would open number of avenues for the youth to be gainfully employed for living a life with dignity and pride adding that the companies would select these students as per their need and qualifications of the students. He said that it would serve two purposes of providing jobs to needy youth of district on one hand and providing skilled manpower to cope up with the needs of the industry on the other.
Insisting upon hard work and dedication as essential criteria for the job other than education, the deputy commissioner said that due to the concerted efforts of the state government, the industrial and trade giants have given their consent to visit the districts for meeting their employment needs. Exhorting the students to get prepares well for the interviews, he said that self confidence and good communication skill is need of the hour to get a job. He also interacted with the students about the procedure of UPSC and other competitive exams.
District GoG head Col. Chuhar Singh, Director of the College Dharamjit Singh, Career Guidance Incharge Prof. Sarbjit Singh and Counselor from District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise Sukhjeet Singh among the key speakers who apprised the students of future job challenges and the ability to meet these challenges.
