Kolhapur, Apr 13 :: Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar said it failed to 'fulfill' promises made during 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Addressing an election rally in Hatkanangale tehsil of the district for Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghstana (SSS) candidate and sitting MP Raju Shetty late Friday night, the NCP chief said that Mr Modi had promised that he will bring back the black money stashed in foreign countries in 100 days but it never happened.' He also criticised the union government over its failure to clean the river Ganga. Mr Pawar said that farmers are in distress due to government's 'anti-farmer policies.The ryots are committing suicide as they are unable to pay the loan taken from banks.(Agency)
