Ludhiana, May 17, 2019: Congress candidate MP Ravneet Bittu’s wife Mrs. Anupama Jhajj held an impressive door-to-door campaign in Ward numbers 57 and 70 in Ludhiana Central and West assembly constituencies today seeking votes for her husband. Mrs. Anupama was accompanied by Central MLA Surinder Dawar’s wife Neelam Dawar and his son Manik Dawar and several others. In Ward no. 70 of West constituency, Mrs. Anupama was accompanied by councilor Dilraj Singh and many other party leaders and workers. Appealing to vote for Congress, they apprised the people about the complete failure of Modi government saying that it had failed to fulfil any of the promises made during 2014 elections and badly affected every section of the society. They said that a strong anti-Modi and pro-Congress wave was blowing in the country and UPA was set to return to power. Mrs. Anupama assured the people that after coming to power, UPA government will start NYAY scheme under which it will provide Rs 72,000 per year in the accounts of 25 crore members of five crore families. The area residents assured that they will make Mr. Bittu victorious with a huge margin.
