RISAT-2B, an radar imaging earth observation satellite, that could sense or ‘observe’ earth in a special way from space day and night, rain or cloud.
After a 25-hour countdown, the home grown rocket lifted off majestically from the First Launch Pad as scheduled at 0530 hrs, under grey skies.
