Bangalore, May 23 (UNI) BJP is leading in majority of the 28 Lok Sabha seats at the end of the second round of counting in 22 seats followed by JD(S) in three and the Congress in the third position with three seats.
While Union ministers and BJP candidates, D V Sadananda Gowda, Ramesh Jigajinagi and Anathakumara
Hegde are leading with huge margins, the Opposition Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge is trailing in his
traditional Kalaburagi seat.
Former Prime minister H D Deve Gowda is also leading in Tumakuru Lok Sabha seat by a slender
margin of 1,104 votes.
