Life resumed in all 12 schools of Ferozepur after floods
Ferozepur August 31, 2019: As the water level in the flood-hit villages of Ferozepur district has started to improve, the rebuilding of life of the people has started, leading to the reopening of all 12 schools closed in flood affected areas for ten days.
Deputy Commissioner, Chandr Gaind said, as a precautionary measure, these schools were closed by the district administration well before the entering of flooded water in the villages and children were not affected to any inconvenience.
He said, all the 12 schools in village, Guddar Panj Graian, New Behram Sher Singh, Dona Mattar, Dule Ke Nathu Wala, Aale Wala, Dhira Patra, Kasu Wala, Mahle Wala, Chakian, Kundir Gatti, Gatti Rajo Ke, Nihale Wala have been opened after a short internal, after proper cleaning and spray to prevent from any skin diseases.
Deputy Commissioner said, the Punjab government is fully committed to provide relief to the people of the flood affected areas.
Sukhwinder Singh DEo said, the classes in the schools have resumed as usual which is a simple sign of improving the life towards betterment.
