People exhorted to reach on 20th October too

Hoshiarpur, October 19:
The Beas River passing through Hoshiarpur became the sea of spirituality today with the grand beginning of Floating Multimedia Light and Sound Show dedicated to the 550th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji courtesy Punjab Government. The show being organized near village Terkyana on Beas river was inaugurated in the presence of MLA Arun Kumar Dogra and Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the fact that a large number of people reached to witness the show is perfect testimony to its growing popularity. The Deputy Commissioner further said that the show would be held on 20th October at the same venue from 6:45-7:30 pm and 8-8:45 pm. After that the model of serenity would reach village Gandhuwal where the show would be held on 23rd-24th October.
Isha Kalia further added that the main rationale behind the light and sound shows being held by the State Government is to make today's young generation aware of the life and philosophy of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji based on social equality and against social evils and the technology is coming in handy in this sincere endeavour of the State Government.
The people on the occasion appreciated the effort of the State Government regarding the light and sound shows. They expressed strong hope that this initiative held amidst the Beas River in the Hoshiarpur District would create history. Among other dignitaries present on the occasion included DC Ropar Sumit Jarungal, ADC Harpreet Singh Sudan and Harbir Singh, Ganeral Observer Pandurang Kondbarao Pole, IAS, Expenditure Observer S. Murali Krishnan and SDM Jyoti Bala.
