Invest Punjab paved the way for industrialization of the state

The progressive thinking of the Chief Minister, Punjab Capt Amarinder has given a tremendous boost to industrialization in Punjab and in this direction the Invest Punjab Summit is an important initiative which has not only helped the industrial sector of the state, but has also made it easier for entrepreneurs by providing all the facilities under one roof says Isha Kalia DC.
She further said “Due to the safe and secure environment and successful industrial policy of the Punjab government, today Punjab has been able to establish itself as the first choice across the country for establishing industry.
She said that besides giving electricity to the industry at a rate of Rs 5 per unit, the industry is given a discount of Rs 1 per unit for night time usage, whereas in Maharashtra, the rate is around Rs 9 per unit. She said that a safe environment has also been created by the state government in Punjab.
Invest Punjab Summit to play key role for new industry in state: Mittal
Meanwhile, divulging more information regarding the Invest Punjab Summit to be orgnised by the Punjab Government to promote industrial development of the state, the Vice Chairman of the Punjab State Planning Board and leading industrialist of the state, Amrit Sagar Mittal, said that led by the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh Singh, the summit will be the key to the arrival of new industries.
He said that the state government was providing various investment facilities to the industrialists, leading to the setting up of big industries in Punjab and facilitating them with the cheap electricity industry and other facilities.
Amrit Sagar Mittal, Vice Chairman, Sonalika International Tracts Limited said that with the single window system for industry related permissions and clearances under Invest Punjab, the concerned authorities personally resolve the issue with interest.
The Chief of the departments, Industries Minister Sundar Sham Arora and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, if needed are available to entrepreneurs, he added.
