Fatehgarh Sahib. January.23, 2020: Capt. Govt. is committed for the overall development of the State and all the promises made during elections will be fulfilled. The Govt. has initiated development projects in urban and rural areas in planned manner and after getting the proper estimates the grants are released, whereas during the previous Badal Govt. the tax payer's money was looted and wasted in an organised manner by organising Sangat Darshan programs, which led to approximate Rs.2 Lakh Crore debt on the State exchequer. Had the funds distributed in Sangat Darshan been properly utilised there would have been no need to plan such camps and again spent the money, said Kaka Randeep Singh MLA Amloh, while addressing the gathering at village Chatarpur in Amloh constituency after inaugurating the camp under Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojna ( MGSVY) at the village today. Amrit Kaur Gill Deputy Commissioner presided over the camp, whereas the heads of all the 19 departments were available in the camp to redress the grievances and to fill the farms of beneficiaries of different schemers on the spot.
DC said that Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojna ( MGSVY) launched by the State Government is proving boon for the needy, downtrodden and eligible beneficiaries of various Government sponsored public oriented schemes as all the district officials organise camps at their door step to provide the benefits to all those who have been deprived off. Moreover they don't have to make rounds of Government offices at district level.
MLA distributed cheques worth Rs.1.67 Crore to village panchyats for various development projects and Rs.34.80 Lakh to 15 village panchyats under Smart Village scheme of the Govt. He assured the people that he will make all efforts to make Amloh a model constituency.
Anand Sagar Sharma SDM Anloh said that approximately 60 complaints were received on the spot and majority of it were redressed.
