Curfew imposed in district Moga, police holds flag march
Moga, March 23, 2020: The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Moga Mr Sandeep Hans today imposed curfew in the district owing to outbreak of Corona Virus. He ordered that no person shall remain outdoors on any street, road or public places in Moga.

The orders are not applicable to police, military or paramilitary personnel in uniform, doctors and government functionaries on duty and those allowed by the district magistrate.
Meanwhile, the health department is holding regular announcements and creating awareness in Corona virus educating people to stay indoors and save themselves.
The district administration is appealed those, who have returned from Hola mohalla celebrations, to remain indoors for 15 days as quarantined. Such people are being asked to report to the nearest health centre if they feel physical discomfort.
Deputy Commissioner appealed people, who have been to Hola mohalla celebrations at Sri Anandpur Sahib, to report at nearest health center so that health workers can keep a track on them.
Besides this, the police department today conducted flag march in various parts of the district asking people not to worry as police were always present in their service.
Meanwhile, caring for the drug addicts, who are undergoing treatment at OOAT centres at Dhudike health centre, the health department today distributed medicines for 15 days together so that patients need not come out of their houses to get medicine.

Health department employees are working round the clock by tracing foreign returned travellers, putting them under quarantine, visiting them daily, putting up posters outside their homes etc.
Also, sanitization has been done in SDM office Nihal Singh Wala, Nagar council office and various wards of the city are being sanitized.
