Fatehgarh Sahib. March.24, 2020: A resident of nearby village Ajnali, who came back from Dubai few days back and was, suffering from fever died in PGI today. His dead body was brought back to village after post-mortem, the villagers suspect the death due to coronavirus but Civil Surgeon denied. He said he died due to some other reason.Dr. N.K. Aggarwal Civil Surgeon said that the deceased had travel history and he came to the civil hospital Fatehgarh Sahib on his own. He was checked up by the doctors and found to be having some cardiac problem because of which he developed difficulty in breathing and he was referred to PGI Chandigarh for further treatment. He said that PGI at its own has taken the sample and he was found corona negative as the report received by his office.
He said that medical specialist had said that there was no symptom of corona as there was no fever, cough and cold he had difficulty in breathing as he had already cardiac problem. He said that test has been done and ruled out any symptom of corona. Meanwhile the manager of Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib with the help of district health authorities have sent 25 sewadars of Gurudwara Fatehgarh Sahib, who were deputed on duty at Takht Keshgarh Sahib Anandpur Sahib during Hola Mohalla as Baldev Singh of Nawansahar who died due to coronavirus had visited the Gurudwara on the eve of Holla Mohalla. Manager has appealed to Sangat not to rush the Gurudwara and follow the instructions of the government.
