Government made available Curfew Transit Pass facility for stuck away people
Ferozepur, March 28, 2020: To facilitate the people who have stuck away from their homes and want to get back home, Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Kulwant Singh has authorized Tehsildars and Nayab Tehsildars of the district to issue transit passes to such people of their respective areas.

Divulging more, the deputy commissioner said that it has come to his knowledge that some people are stuck here in Ferozepur and want to get back to their family and required transit passes for the same purpose. He further added that all the Tehsildars and Nayab Tehsildars are now hereby authorized to issue transit passes to such people so that they can get back home without any further delay.
Kulwant Singh asked all the authorized officers to follow the due procedure laid by the state government while issuing such passes adding he directed all the concerned officers to mention vehicle numbers on the passes along with the names of traveled stations i.e. starting station to end station.
The deputy commissioner said that the district administration was committed to serve the people in the hour of distress and leave no stone unturned to provide with them daily needs besides fulfilling their requirements. He exhorted people to follow the curfew and other important guidelines issued by the state government so that this fight against the Corona Virus could win over.
