Rajpura, March 29, 2020: A youth from Ramnagar village, tehsil Ghanour, district Patiala, has tested positive for coronavirus.
The 21-year-old man, who had returned from Nepal recently, was declared coronavirus positive after a medical examination at a civil hospital in Ambala last night.
He flew from Nepal and landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, on March 19. From there he took a bus for Ambala and then reached his village along with a friend.
Later, he complained of fever and loose motions and was taken to Civil Hospital, Ambala, where his sample came out positive for coronavirus.
According to SSP Patiala Mandip Sidhu, all 14 persons who came in touch with the patient have been admitted to Rajendra Hospital, Patiala.
