Rs 15 lakh grant issued for ambulance to Civil Hospital, Rupnagar

Rupnagar, March 29, 2020 : Member Parliament of Shri Anandpur Sahib Manish Tewari has appealed to the people to support the government and stay in their homes for a few more days to defeat the corona virus. Giving priority to the health of the people, the MP has issued a grant of Rs.15 lakhs to purchase a high-level ambulance equipped for emergency situations for the civil hospital in Rupnagar.MP Tewari went live on Facebook and appealed to the people of Shri Anandpur Sahib that including Janta Curfew on March 22, 8 days of lock down have been completed. He expressed happiness that till now we have been able to stop the disease from spreading in the country. However, we are facing a very big health challenge, which is called the third stage in the language of medical and to overcome these conditions, we have to follow the discipline by staying in our own homes for the next few days as well.
Apart from this, Tiwari appealed to people to ask for curfew pass only in the event of emergency. He reveals that he is getting calls from many people regarding the curfew pass, but he appeals to take the curfew pass only in medical emergency or in serious conditions and not just to take a walk. While going out in these conditions, we are putting our own and our family's health in danger. In addition, he praised the representatives of different political parties, institutions and organizations for providing rations and essential commodities to the needy in these grave conditions. But also advised not to take personal credit on the current conditions. Tewari revealed that prioritizing the health of the people, he has issued a grant of Rs.15 lakhs to the Civil Hospital at Rupnagar for an ambulance equipped with high-level facilities. He said that Punjabis have won many wars and this battle can be won by staying indoors. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the Punjab government is fighting the war against the Corona virus with all seriousness and hard work. In such a situation, he appeals to the people to follow the instructions of the Punjab government in a disciplinary manner and stay in their homes.
