Curfew passes only on online; apply on government website from home
Ferozepur, April 6, 2020: During the curfew imposed in the state, to put a complete check on the spread of pandemic coronavirus, curfew passes for any specific purpose, will now be issued online only and anyone can apply on the government official website and no curfew pass will be issued manually, said Kulwant Singh, Deputy Commissioner while making an appeal to the people to apply for the curfew pass while sitting at home.
He said, the curfew passes for different purposes will be issued through Cova App or web site https://epasscovid19.pais.net.in/ and the applications may be filed accordingly.
DC said, now there is no need to visit the government offices for the purpose of issuance of curfew passes on a need basis as this facility has been made available online by the government. He said the people can apply for the pass from their mobile and the same will be issued on mobile itself, after taking a decision. The administration will not entertain any pass by manual application.
He further said, “To get an online pass, different officers have been authorized and they have been directed to decide about the issuance of curfew pass instantly”. Making an appeal to the people, DC said, the pass may be applied only in case of emergent circumstances adding that the farmers will be issued curfew passes for the purpose of harvesting and marketing operations on priority and they will not face any kind of problem in this regard.
