A person being treated for his injuries outside the gurdwara
Seattle, October 19, 2020: Two persons were injured, including one who needed hospitalization, after a fight between two groups of Sikhs in Gurudwara Singh Sabha in Renton city on Sunday.
According to police, the fighting started in the parking and then continued inside the gurdwara. Police said that when they reached the spot, they saw people running around trying to save themselves as others clashed armed with swords and baseball bats.
According to the police, tensions between the two groups have been simmering for the past three weeks which culminated in the clash at the gurdwara.
Though the exact reason behind the clash is not known, the police have started an investigation.
