International ranking of five New Zealand universities as world's best universities has improved, according to the latest report of QS World University Rankings released today.
As per this 2020 report, all eight universities of this country are within the top 500 universities of the world.
For the sixth year running, University of Waikato in Hamilton (NZ) has climbed up in the global list of best universities announced today, and now sits at 266 out of 1,000 institutions worldwide. Since 2014, Waikato University has moved up 135 places in the rankings. Established in 1964, University of Waikato is New Zealand’s fifth largest university, with campuses located in Hamilton and Tauranga.
Other NZ universities that have improved their rankings are: Victoria University of Wellington, University of Canterbury, Auckland University of Technology and Massey University.
Top on this global list of best universities is Boston’s Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
