Language Deptt holds debate on book ‘Zindagi De Rah Dasere’ by Narinder Singh Zira
Ferozepur, April 28, 2023: The District Language Department in Ferozepur organized healthy debate on a book titled ‘Zindagi De Rah Dasere’ by Narinder Singh Zira, with the support of Sahitya Sabha (Regd.) Zira at a simple and impressive seminar at local Government College. Satwinderpal Singh welcomed everyone from the college and said that the honor of organizing such a literary event was given to this college by the language department.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Jagdeep Singh Sandhu, District Language Officer said, Narinder Singh Zira is a concerned writer who thinks about the problems of various phenomena of the society and also gives life-guidance according to his ability from this thinking. He said that in this book the serious issues of life have been expressed very simply and clearly on the basis of facts.
During the discussions, Satish Mohan Devgan shed light on the problems faced in various articles of this book which is like a bird's eye view of Narendra Singh Zira's life. While moderating the forum, Pavitar Singh gave detailed information about various aspects of this book and said that this book will be especially helpful in understanding contemporary life.
During his presidential speech, eminent columnist Navis S. Gurcharan Singh Noorpur said that Narendra Singh Zira is one of those sensitive people who understand the pain of others and have the ability to express it. He gave historical references and asked to connect with knowledge because only knowledge can give the right direction to man.
In the end Narinder Singh Zira while giving information about his literary journey, giving information about the creation process and sources of this book, said that he has the experience of being associated with students for a long time and from this experience, he explored various aspects of society, economy and lifestyle.
On this occasion, Jarnail Singh Bhullar, Mahinderpal Kumar, Gurpal Singh Zirvi, Jugraj Singh, Hakumat Roy, Ashok Palta, C. L. Kaushik, Miss Pooja, Poonam Bala, Journalist Partap Singh Zira, Raman Kumar, Navdeep Singh, the staff and students of the college were present.
