Senior NRI Coordinator Nijjar meets CS, SPS to Punjab CM, seeks assistance in ongoing projects

Chandigarh, October 13, 2021: Manjit Singh Nijjar, Senior NRI coordinator and Member High Powered Investment Committee, Punjab on Wednesday sought assistance from the Punjab government in the ongoing projects.
During a meeting, Chief Secretary Punjab Anirudh Tiwari and Special Principal Secretary to CM Hussian Lal, Nijjar along with Avtar Cheema, NRI Coordinator from the UK, presented the details of the ongoing projects they are working on and requested assistance from the Punjab government departments.
"Very positive and encouraging response by CM, Channi Sahib, Chief Sec. Tiwari Sahib and SPS CM, Husan Lal ji," Nijjar said post meeting.
Manjit Singh Nijjar along with Avtar Cheema also met Education, Sports, Youth Services, and NRI Affairs Minister Pargat Singh for discussing, sister state alliance with New South Wales Australia, the medical city with UK Government funding scheme, Olive cultivation and processing (crop diversification) and infrastructure/tourism projects for Punjab.
"Karan Randhawa is playing a great role in the sister state alliance and Avtar Cheema has put in a lot of efforts in our Olive Cultivation/Processing initiative and signing of MOU with ROCL(Rajasthan Govt.). Beginning of a New Era in Punjab," Manjit Singh Nijjar said.
