Ludhiana (Punjab), November 12, 2025: Every year, as the harvest season ends across North India, vast swathes of farmland are set ablaze, filling the air with dense smoke that harms the environment and endangers millions of lives. But Trident Group, one of India’s leading textile and paper manufacturers, has chosen a different path — one rooted in awareness, responsibility, and sustainable change.
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Parali Samadhan, Trident Group is addressing the pressing issue of stubble burning by collecting crop residue from thousands of acres of farmland.
Instead of allowing it to be burned, the company repurposes the stubble into biofuel and other eco-friendly materials — turning what was once agricultural waste into a valuable resource that supports livelihoods and reduces pollution.

The initiative not only helps improve air quality but also empowers rural communities by creating income opportunities and promoting environmental stewardship.
“True progress lies in every field that breathes clean air and every life that thrives with dignity and health,” stated Trident Group.
