GNDU declares result of state-level B.Ed Common Entrance Test
Amritsar, August 8, 2022 –Guru Nanak University university declared the result of the state-level B.Ed Common Entrance Test for admission in colleges affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Panjab University Chandigarh, Punjabi University Patiala situated in the state of Punjab.
Out of the total 12981 candidates, who appeared in the Common Entrance Test, 12911 students qualified for the test.
The result of 11 candidates could not be declared because of some discrepancy in their OMR sheet.
The qualifying marks for general category candidates are 25% (38 marks out of 150), and for SC and ST category candidates are 20% (30 marks out of 150) as per notification Punjab Govt. notification of B. Ed Common entrance test and centralized counseling.
The students could download their results on the portal with a reference application id.
Out of total candidates 12981 who appeared, 1850 are male and 11131 are female candidates. Out of total 1850 male candidates who appeared, 1847 male candidates qualified the test; and out of total 11131 female candidates, 11064 female candidates qualified the test.
Naha Bhatt (Roll number; 21982) topped the common entrance test scoring 127 marks out of 150, Ekta Jha (21980), Jasleen Kaur (18477), Gargi Mishra (25650) and Arshdeep Dhunna (21417) are the top five candidates scoring 122, 121, 120, and 119 marks. There is only one male candidate in top ten list of qualified candidates ie Prince (12752) who is on 9th position scoring 117 out of 150.
Prof. Amit Kauts, co-ordinator while announcing the result congratulated the qualified candidates and requested the 11 candidates whose results are awaited that they should submit the required documents for eliminating the discrepancies.
