PAU VC presented with paintings rooted in Punjabi culture

Ludhiana, May 22, 2203: A beautiful painting, rooted in the Punjabi culture, was presented to Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) by the Communication Centre.
Dr Gosal, while expressing his love for the rich cultural heritage of Punjab, reminisced his erstwhile years in his native village Ratwara, Mohali, and shared nostalgic moments spent with his parents.
He showered blessings on the student artist Manpreet Kaur for highlighting the traditional glory of Punjab state and suggested organizing painting competitions to encourage budding artists.
Dr. TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, said that Dr. Gosal was a nature and art lover under whose stewardship the Museum of Rural Life of Punjab at PAU got included on Punjab’s tourism website and was taking keen interest in the upkeep of the University campus as well.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Associate Director (Skill Development); Dr Vishal Bector, Associate Director (Institutional Linkages), Dr Ashoo Toor, Associate Professor of English; Dr Jagwinder Singh Jodha, Editor (Punjabi), Ms Sandeep Kaur Kalsi, Designer and Mr Ramesh Kumar.
