DSCW NCC Wing conducts cleanliness drive under Garbage Free India
Ferozepur, September 26, 2023: The NCC Wing of local Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Ferozepur conducted a cleanliness drive under Garbage Free India.
Dr.Sangeeta Principal said, under the guidance of Colonel Rajbir Singh Shero Commanding Officer 5 Punjab Girls Battalion, a cleanliness drive was conducted under Garbage Free India by the NCC wing of the college. In this context, a cleaning campaign was conducted in the vicinity of Dev Samaj Girls Senior Secondary School and the railway station of Ferozepur city.
On this occasion, Lieutenant Dr. Paramveer Kaur conducted a poster making competition for the cadets on the topic 'Swachh Bharat'.
Dr. Sangeeta Principal, said that all these drives run by the government to keep its surroundings clean are for the good of humanity. Only a clean environment can keep us free from diseases. We all should actively participate in such social welfare works.
