1200 students from 60 schools and colleges participated
7th MFM Painting Competition held, Harshit from Moga wins first prize for the 7th time

Ferozepur, April 22, 2024: As many as 1,200 students of 60 schools and colleges participated in putting Ferozepur’s legacy on canvac, in the 7th Mayank Sharma Memorial Painting Competition (MSMPC), on the topics of Road Safety, Environment, Artificial Intelligence, Indian Monument, Festival of Democracy, Save Planet Earth, India. Festivals, Spirituality, Artificial Intelligence, Colors of Life, My Green World, Ferozepur's legacy on canvas. The event was organized by the team of Deepak Sharma – the father of Mayank who became a victim of a road accident, in whose memory every year many events are organized, under the tutelage of Dr.Anirudh Gupta.
Project Chairman Vikas Gumbar said that Harshit Sharma of Moga won the first prize for the seventh time. He said Harshit Sharma, Jeevjot Singh and Vansh Sharma got the first three positions in the road safety theme respectively. Jashrpreet Kaur bagged the first prize, Jasjit Kaur bagged the second prize and Ruby the third prize in the heritage category of Ferozepur. In the Festival of Democracy Kaitagiri, Anmolpreet Singh won first place, Karmajit Kaur won second place, and Himanshi Vaishnav won third place. The winners were encouraged by giving prizes and certificates by the foundation. The foundation also provided Participation certificates and refreshments to all the participants.
Given the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, an oath was also administered among the present in the event, to exercise their right to franchise, and to strengthen the democracy. Besides, the audience was made wiser about the electoral process through the recently released song of SVEEP Team – Najar Di Vohti. During this event, the students of Shah Dance Academy, Rhythm Dance Academy and Nritya Kala Academy entertained the audience by dancing.
The role of judges were performed by Rahul Sharma, Dr. Anita Kakkar, Adarshpal, Aman Sandhu, Anjali Arora, Sumit Sharma, Khushboo Arora, Aziz Verma, Itika Garg, Dr. Charanjit Kaur, Nikita, Bhavdeep Kohli, Sapna Badhwar while Harindra Bhullar played the role Master of Ceremony. Present among others were Bikram Chandel, Army Officer, social worker Sanjana Mittal as Chief Guest while the guest of honour were Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross, senior social activist Harish Monga, Subodh Kakkar, Sunit Monga, Satinderjit Singh, Suraj Mehta, Dr.Deepak Goyal, Timsy Sareen, Danish Kakkar. All the guests were also facilitated by the Foundation.
