Chandigarh: Post Graduate Government College for Girls wins Panjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival for record 11th time

Chandigarh, October 25, 2024: Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 11 (PGGCG-11), Chandigarh, has once again demonstrated its excellence by securing first place in the prestigious Panjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival for a record-breaking 11th time.
The college’s unmatched performance in this annual event, held this year amidst great enthusiasm, has brought immense pride to Chandigarh and the academic community.
The competition saw intense participation from 26 institutional teams, each vying for top honours across a variety of cultural, literary, and heritage events. Students from PGGCG-11 clinched victory in 40 out of 60 events, showcasing their talents in an impressive array of disciplines that spanned music, dance, fine arts, theater, literary competitions, and heritage crafts. This remarkable achievement underlines the dedication and skill of the college’s students and the committed guidance of its faculty.
Dr. Anita Kaushal, Principal of PGGCG-11, along with the faculty and students, received congratulations and accolades from academics and well-wishers across the academia.
