Himachali students embark on cultural exchange trip to Telangana under Yuva Sangam Phase V

Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), December 30, 2024: A group of students from across Himachal Pradesh embarked on an enriching 5-day trip to Telangana as part of the Yuva Sangam Phase V program.
The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, the nodal institution for this initiative, hosted a warm flag-off ceremony at its campus.
The event was presided over by the esteemed Director of NIT Hamirpur, Dr. H. M. Suryavanshi, who served as the Chief Guest.In his inspiring address, Dr. Suryavanshi emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and learning, urging the participants to make the most of this unique opportunity.
He, along with Professor Anoop Kumar, Dean of Faculty Welfare, and associate professors Dr. Pardeep Singh and Dr. Kuldeep Kr. Sharma, officially flagged off the bus, marking the commencement of the youth's journey to Telangana.
The nodal officer for the program, Dr. Param Singh, and the assistant nodal officer, Dr. Sreeram T. S., ensured seamless arrangements for the event.The faculty members extended their best wishes and words of encouragement to the participants, underlining the significance of this cultural exchange initiative.
The Yuva Sangam program aims to foster cultural integration and mutual understanding among the youth of different states, making this trip a meaningful step toward national unity.
