Mumbai (Maharastra), August 8, 2025: Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada has been targeted in two separate firing incidents within a month. An alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility, citing Kapil’s association with Bollywood star Salman Khan as the motive.
According to an audio clip, gang member Harry Boxer stated that both attacks were carried out because Kapil had invited Salman Khan to the launch of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The Netflix show’s third season premiered on June 21, with Salman appearing as the first guest.
In the recording, Harry Boxer allegedly issues further threats to anyone collaborating with Salman Khan, warning that the gang would “not spare anyone,” regardless of their position in the film industry. He also claimed they were willing to go to “any extent” to target the actor and his associates.
Canadian authorities are reportedly investigating the incidents and the alleged gang links.
