Over 200 women join Dandiya Sangam 3.0 to connect youth to tradition
Ferozepur, September 21, 2025: To promote Sanatan Dharma and Hindu traditions during the auspicious Navratri festival, a vibrant Dandiya Sangam 3.0 celebration and competition was held today, organised by Payal Dhawan and Tanu Narang. This marked the third consecutive year of the event, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of women across the city.
The organisers shared that over 200 women took part in the festivities, which featured a variety of engaging competitions such as Dandiya Dance, Best Dress, and Best Performance. Winners were honoured and encouraged with special awards.
The evening began with a traditional Durga Puja and Ganesh Vandana, setting a devotional tone. Women, dressed in colourful traditional attire, danced gracefully to the beats of garba and dandiya, filling the atmosphere with joy, devotion, and cultural pride.
Payal Dhawan and Tanu Narang highlighted that the purpose of such events is to connect the younger generation with India’s rich heritage and to spread awareness about the significance of traditional festivals.
