Chandigarh, Feb 7 (babushahi.com bureau): As many as 11 candidates remains in the fray for Moga Bye Poll 2013 after the scrutiny of nomination papers.
A spokesperson of the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab said that the office had received 16 Nominations, out of which 5 have been rejected for various reasons. He further said that candidates could withdraw their Nominations by February 9.
He further said that 11 Candidates remain in the fray namely Joginderpal Jain of SAD-BJP, Sathi Vijay Kumar of Congress, Dr. Ravinder Singh Dhaliwal of Peoples Party of Punjab, Mr. Jaswant Singh Bedi of Indian karantikari lehar, Mr. Birinderpal Singh of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), Mr. Gurmit Singh Rangreta of Punjab Labour Party, Mr. Hardev Singh, Mr. Shinder Singh, Mr. Ram Denwyal, Mr. Gurbachan Singh and Mr. Rajinder Singh as independent Candidates.
