Chandigarh reports 780 new COVID cases and 11 deaths
Chandigarh, May 4, 2021:
Chandigarh reported 780 new COVID-19 positive cases on Tuesday. 11 deaths due to COVID were also reported in the last 24 hours. Notably, the city witnessed 72 deaths due to COVID in the last seven days.
As per the information released by the health department, UT Chandigarh, the total number of active cases in Chandigarh stands at 8,170.
In the last 24 hours, the department has tested 3,193 samples. As per the figure, 518 deaths have been reported in Chandigarh due to COVID-19 to date.
Likewise, the total number of patients who have tested positive to date stands at 45,976.
