DSCW hosts International Webinar on Agentic AI and Smart Commerce
Ferozepur, March 19, 2026: Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW) organised an international webinar on “Agentic AI: Transforming the Future of Smart Commerce. The main objective of the webinar was to familiarise students and faculty members with the latest advancements in modern technology and their growing relevance in the field of commerce.
Aditya Gupta, Senior Software Engineer, Microsoft AI (Bing Ads), USA, delivered the keynote address. He explained the concept of Agentic AI in detail and highlighted how such intelligent systems are capable of making autonomous decisions. Through various examples, he illustrated how artificial intelligence is transforming modern business systems and opening new possibilities in digital commerce.
He especially emphasised that through automation, personalisation, and data-driven strategies, business organisations are making their operations more efficient, effective, and faster. He also encouraged students to continuously upgrade their skills and embrace emerging technologies to remain competitive and future-ready.
The webinar was held under the leadership of Principal Dr Sangeeta, who has consistently promoted academic innovation and global learning exposure for students.
The event was coordinated by Dr Leena Kakkar, Head of the Commerce Department, and Dr Aarti Garg, Assistant Professor, through an online platform. A large number of students and faculty members participated in the webinar and showed keen interest in the subject.
During the interactive session, participants actively raised questions and engaged in discussion, making the session more informative and engaging. The webinar provided students with valuable insights into the practical applications of AI in commerce and motivated them to prepare for future challenges.
